'It's not about Pakistan, we wanted to bring glory' - Shivam Dube after India's Asian Games gold

Following India's men's cricket team capturing the gold medal at the Asian Games by defeating Pakistan by 19 runs in the final, batsman Shivam Dube emphasized that the triumph was driven by a desire to secure continental glory for the nation rather than any rivalry. India defended their title successfully by posting a total of 211 for 6, anchored by Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma, while restricting their opponents to 192 for 6 behind a stellar outing from Hasan Nawaz.

Dube wrapped up the contest by claiming the final wicket, complementing strong performances from teammates including Jasprit Bumrah and earning praise from ICC Chairman Jay Shah after a historic double gold achievement for Indian cricket alongside the women's squad.
