Mohammad Rizwan roars back with a double hundred after being dropped from Pakistan Test squad

Following his exclusion from the national lineup and an ongoing board inquiry, veteran batter Mohammad Rizwan responded with a dominant double century in domestic competition. Representing the Peshawar Region, the thirty-four-year-old compiled two hundred runs from two hundred and fifty-two deliveries, hitting thirty-five fours and a single six against the Faisalabad Region.

Teammate Nabi Gul also contributed a century, pushing their side to a strong total of five hundred and three runs for four wickets. The innings follows a difficult period for the player, marked by a recent Test series against England and subsequent off-field scrutiny.
