Michael Carrick's fate at Manchester United is inevitable – it's finally time for Antonio Conte to take his position in the Old Trafford home dugout

Manchester United faces a search for their ninth manager since Alex Ferguson retired, as Michael Carrick departs the role. Analysts suggest the club should pursue Antonio Conte to revitalize the team, despite previous concerns regarding his short-term approach and demanding personality.

Conte has a proven history of immediate success, having secured league titles at Juventus, Chelsea, Inter, and Napoli, often turning around struggling squads quickly. While his tenure at Tottenham Hotspur did not yield a trophy, he still managed to secure a Champions League spot.

Given the club's recent history of short-lived managerial appointments, proponents argue that Conte's ability to demand high standards and command authority is exactly what the squad requires to overcome its current stagnation.
