Miami Dolphins’ Most Valuable Player | Week One | Radiant Rookie

Wide receiver Caleb Douglas emerged as Miami's standout performer during their 27-13 season-opening defeat against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on September 13, 2026. In his initial NFL appearance, the rookie paced the Dolphins in both receptions and receiving yardage, racking up 94 yards through the air.

While the contest resulted in a double-digit road defeat, Douglas showcased his playmaking ability, notably evading Raiders defensive back Jeremy Chinn on a second-quarter catch-and-run. The matchup also featured Miami debuts for teammates Malik Willis, Jacob Rodriguez, Chris Johnson, Kadyn Proctor, and coach Jeff Hafley.
