The Indian Premier League landscape is undergoing a significant transformation as Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings finalize a player swap. All-rounder Hardik Pandya is set to depart Mumbai to join the Punjab squad, where he will operate under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer.
In exchange, the Mumbai franchise will acquire the services of left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh. This transaction marks the conclusion of Pandya's second tenure with the five-time champions, a period characterized by two consecutive seasons missing the playoff stage.
The trade agreement currently awaits formal approval from the BCCI, with the player retention window extended until November 17 ahead of the December 16 auction.
