Marco Bezzecchi hails “fantastic Friday” at Sepang MotoGP despite sizeable deficit

Marco Bezzecchi expressed satisfaction with his opening day at Sepang, despite finishing sixth in practice. The Aprilia rider noted that his performance was a significant improvement over his difficult outing at the same circuit last year.

While he struggled with his time attack pace and committed several riding errors, he remains optimistic about his race speed. Bezzecchi identified Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and Pedro Acosta as the primary threats for the upcoming races.

Meanwhile, his teammate Jorge Martin is managing a wrist fracture, and Raul Fernandez has been forced to withdraw from the event due to a finger injury.
