Jemimah Rodrigues has officially returned to competitive action after completing a three-month recovery process for a severe right hamstring injury. The setback, which occurred during a match in England on August 3, forced the batter to miss several major international events, including the Asia Cup and the Asian Games.
Following medical clearance from the BCCI Centre of Excellence, she has joined the Mumbai squad to participate in the Senior Women's T20 Elite tournament in Pune. This competition serves as a vital opportunity for her to regain match fitness ahead of India's upcoming multi-format tour of South Africa in December 2026.
Interestingly, her return to health was confirmed on the same calendar day that she recorded a century against Australia one year prior.
