Madhya Pradesh Ranji Trophy 2026-27 squad: Shubham Sharma to lead

Batter Shubham Sharma will captain Madhya Pradesh during the initial phase of the upcoming 2026-27 Ranji Trophy tournament. The squad will be without Rajat Patidar and Arshad Khan for the opening round due to India A commitments, while Venkatesh Iyer remains unavailable while rehabilitating from shoulder surgery.

Madhya Pradesh finished atop its group in the previous campaign before exiting in the quarterfinals against Jammu and Kashmir. The squad will open its new campaign with a fixture against Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar.
