Lynx news: Cheryl Reeve blasts Minnesota with harsh reality after sad exit

Following a stunning opening round playoff exit, Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve offered a brutally honest assessment of her squad's postseason shortcomings. Despite securing an impressive regular season record of thirty-three wins against eleven losses, the top-seeded Lynx were swept out of the postseason by the New York Liberty, culminating in an eighty-seven to seventy-one defeat.

Reeve shouldered the blame for the early elimination, noting that the group may not be properly constructed for deep playoff runs and promising to make difficult choices to improve the roster.
