
The LPGA Tour has confirmed that the Lotte Championship will relocate to the Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort on Maui beginning in 2027, with the event scheduled for March 18-21. This move follows the PGA Tour's decision to shift The Sentry to Torrey Pines for the same year, opening up the historic venue for women's golf.
The tournament will maintain its $3 million purse and will take place one week after the new Nanea Cup event on the Big Island.
The announcement comes after the 14th edition of the Lotte Championship concluded at Hoakalei Country Club on Oahu, where world No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul claimed the title.
LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership, highlighting Kapalua's deep-rooted heritage and thanking Hoakalei for its five-year tenure as the host site. Hawaii native and U.S.
Women's Open champion Allisen Corpuz also voiced excitement about the change, noting that competing at Kapalua would allow her to share the islands' beauty with local fans.
