The Milwaukee Brewers made a surprise appearance on *Saturday Night Live* this weekend, with World Series champions Christian Yelich, Brice Turang, and manager Pat Murphy joining the cast for a segment on Weekend Update. The trio played along as the show’s recurring Drunk Uncle character, reinforcing the reality that a team named after a beer brand had indeed won baseball’s championship.

The cameo also included a nod to Yelich’s past SNL appearance during his time with the Miami Marlins, adding a fun throwback for fans. Meanwhile, the Brewers’ connection to the sketch comedy show isn’t new: former radio broadcaster Bob Uecker hosted an episode in 1984, blending his baseball fame with his well-known Miller Lite ads and late-night TV appearances.
