Lions Week 5 preview: Breaking down Cardinals’ offensive, defensive schemes

The Detroit Lions travel to face the Arizona Cardinals in a Week 5 matchup. Arizona is currently 1-3 and navigating a coaching transition under first-year head coach Mike LaFleur, while offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett manages a unit that relies heavily on 11 personnel and an outside-zone rushing attack.

Despite the coaching staff's efforts, quarterback Jacoby Brissett has struggled significantly, ranking near the bottom of the league in most passing metrics and facing pressure behind an offensive line that has been slow to react to blitzes.
