LeBron’s 76ers, Grizzlies continue to impress in Post’s NBA Power Rankings

The latest weekly power rankings place the Houston Rockets at the summit despite an initial defeat against the Mavericks, boasting a league-leading offense fueled by seven double-digit scorers. Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies maintain an unblemished record to climb rapidly, aided by the stellar performances of Ty Jerome and Cameron Boozer.

The Philadelphia 76ers secure the third position following a pair of victories over the reigning champions, with LeBron James, Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and Joel Embiid driving their campaign forward. Elsewhere, the Detroit Pistons navigate the absence of Jalen Duren under the leadership of Cade Cunningham, while the Boston Celtics rebound with four consecutive wins anchored by Paul George and Jayson Tatum.

Conversely, the Oklahoma City Thunder encounter adversity after losing three starters to injuries alongside their first defeat of the campaign, and the San Antonio Spurs string together three straight victories spearheaded by Victor Wembanyama. Finally, the Portland Trail Blazers experience an early-season setback with Ja Morant sidelined due to a hamstring strain.
