Red Bull Racing driver Liam Lawson will debut his custom Taylor Guitars LL30 GS Mini Special Edition at Austin’s Garage Sessions event ahead of the U.S. Grand Prix.
The guitar, featuring a pink-to-white ombre design and Lawson’s racing number 30, marks a personal milestone for the 24-year-old, who began playing music at age six under his father’s guidance. The Thursday evening performance at Inn Cahoots will reunite Lawson with childhood bandmates, including his brother and two close friends, alongside established artists like Jonathan Capeci and Scoot Teasley.
The pre-race gathering, blending live music, food, and team interactions, also includes an Esses Bazaar showcase from 3 p.m., offering fans exclusive access to the Red Bull show car and themed experiences like tattoos and western wear. Lawson, who uses music to unwind during the season, called the partnership a ‘full-circle moment,’ highlighting its role in his life beyond racing.
