Lane Kiffin was supposed to change everything at LSU. Instead, Alabama delivered a familiar nightmare

Lane Kiffin’s LSU Tigers fell 31-13 to Alabama late Saturday, with the deficit widening as the clock showed 3:48 remaining in the fourth quarter. The loss dropped LSU to 6-3 on the season and all but ended their College Football Playoff hopes, prompting a frustrated Kiffin to acknowledge the disappointing result.

Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer celebrated his third straight victory over LSU and his second win in Tiger Stadium, improving to 3-0 against the Tigers. DeBoer highlighted the confidence growing within his program, while Kiffin’s record against Alabama slipped to 0-6 across three different schools, underscoring the SEC’s unforgiving nature.
