Lane Kiffin’s move to LSU Tigers doesn’t change luck vs. Alabama

Lane Kiffin faced a difficult outcome in his debut season at LSU as his team suffered a 31-13 defeat against Alabama. Despite the Tigers generating more total yardage and securing 14 additional first downs compared to their opponents, they were unable to capitalize on those advantages during the contest.

Kiffin expressed frustration regarding the result and defended his strategic decisions, including a failed fourth-down attempt deep in Crimson Tide territory during the second quarter. This loss marks the third defeat of the season for the Tigers, significantly complicating their prospects for a College Football Playoff berth.
