Landon Dickerson headed to IR, admits he ‘was a complete liability’ in Week 1

The Philadelphia Eagles have moved starting offensive lineman Landon Dickerson to injured reserve due to a knee issue, sidelining the three-time Pro Bowl guard for a minimum of four matchups. The decision followed a difficult performance in the team's narrow 24-22 season-opening triumph over the Washington Commanders, after which the $94 million blocker candidly acknowledged that his compromised physical state made him a total detriment on the field.

With Dickerson unavailable, Philadelphia must quickly reconfigure its offensive line and evaluate options at left guard, including backups Drew Kendall and Willie Lampkin.
