Kuldeep Yadav beats Shubman Gill to win India’s ‘Impact Player of the Series’ award

Kuldeep Yadav was awarded the Impact Player of the Series honor following India's successful three-match ODI campaign against the West Indies. Despite dropping the final contest, the hosts secured a 2-1 series victory, aided significantly by the left-arm spinner's dominance as the leading wicket-taker.

Physiotherapist Yogesh Parmar presented the accolade to acknowledge both his stellar bowling figures and his milestone of reaching two hundred wickets in the fifty-over format for the national side. In his acceptance remarks, the spinner expressed gratitude for the leadership of Shubman Gill alongside veteran batsmen Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul, while noting that preparatory sessions in Trivandrum helped him regain his peak form.
