Kirby Smart Puts 15 SEC Rivals on Alert With Blunt Message After Vanderbilt Win Despite Admitting Major Problem

Top-ranked Georgia overcame a sluggish start on the ground to secure a 38-14 victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday, moving their record to 5-0. Head coach Kirby Smart acknowledged his squad failed to execute cleanly in the run game early on, but praised their ability to wear down the opposition over four quarters through efficient play and strong possession metrics.

Quarterback Gunner Stockton provided a major offensive boost by completing 25 of 32 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns, contributing to a total of 471 offensive yards. Smart issued a confident warning to conference opponents about his squad's durability and strategic depth following the win.
