Kagiso Rabada reaches 350 Test wickets, becomes second fastest Proteas bowler to do so

During the third Test match against Australia at Newlands on October 31, 2026, South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada achieved his 350th Test wicket. The thirty-one-year-old reached the milestone in his seventy-fifth match by claiming three dismissals within the first four overs of the second innings, following a single scalp in the opening innings.

This feat makes him the second-fastest Proteas bowler to reach the landmark, trailing Dale Steyn, who accomplished it in sixty-nine Tests. Sri Lanka's Muthiah Muralidaran and India's Ravichandran Ashwin share the global record by hitting the mark in sixty-six appearances.
