Javier Aguirre explains how Valencia plan to stop Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe: ‘We will try to make sure…’

Valencia manager Javier Aguirre has outlined his tactical approach ahead of Saturday's fixture at Mestalla against Real Madrid. Aguirre acknowledged the unique threat posed by Kylian Mbappe but stressed that his squad will aim to collectively contain the opposition rather than conceding defeat beforehand.

Reflecting on past encounters, the coach recalled guiding Real Zaragoza to a 3-2 victory against Jose Mourinho's side at the Bernabeu during the 2010-11 campaign, though he also remembered a heavy 5-0 defeat on the opening day of the following season.
