"He'll Be Back!" - Enzo Maresca Reiterates Confidence in Phil Foden Despite Latest Thomas Tuchel Snub

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has expressed strong support for Phil Foden following his recent omission from the England squad by Thomas Tuchel. Foden has hit a rich vein of form recently with four goals in his last five matches, including a hat-trick against AEK Athens, though he noted he has had no direct communication with Tuchel since the World Cup.

Meanwhile, teammate Nico O'Reilly has also been left out of the national team setup, with Maresca clarifying that the midfielder is not yet at full fitness and requires a period of rest during the international break.
