Barcelona dressing room amazed by veteran defender; call him ‘Beckenbauer’ in training

Barcelona center-back Andreas Christensen has earned high praise from his teammates during training sessions, with squad members reportedly drawing comparisons to Franz Beckenbauer due to his exceptional quality on the pitch. While the Danish defender has been sidelined since sustaining a left thigh injury against Sevilla on September 19, head coach Hansi Flick remains confident in his abilities and is eager for his return to action.

Christensen recently participated in a portion of Friday's group training session, raising hopes that he might receive medical clearance ahead of the upcoming fixture against Atletico Madrid.
