Liverpool are in the race to sign €35m Bundesliga star

Liverpool are evaluating Eintracht Frankfurt defender Nnamdi Collins as a potential long-term defensive option. The 22-year-old is being monitored by several Premier League sides, though the German club holds a strong negotiating position due to a contract that extends through 2030 and an estimated valuation of €35 million.

This interest coincides with the club's need to plan for the future, as Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez approach the final year of their respective deals. Sporting director Julian Ward is expected to lead these recruitment efforts following recent losses to Arsenal and Fenerbahce that highlighted a need for squad balance.

While scouts have tracked the versatile defender during club and international duty, no formal negotiations have commenced.
