Jason Witten taking over as OU football interim offensive coordinator, per reports

Following a disappointing 4-4 start to the season, the Oklahoma Sooners have dismissed offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle. The decision comes after the team struggled to find rhythm, currently ranking 111th in total offense with an average of 22 points per game.

Head coach Brent Venables has appointed tight ends coach Jason Witten to take over play-calling duties on an interim basis. This coaching shift follows a recent 42-25 defeat against South Carolina, a game that highlighted the team's ongoing offensive difficulties.
