Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham Calls Out WNBA Over Suspension Decision

Following a postseason elimination, Indiana guard Sophie Cunningham utilized her podcast to criticize the league office regarding discipline. Her squad was recently eliminated from the postseason bracket after dropping a three-game series.

During the previous contest, an altercation occurred involving opposing star A'ja Wilson and a spectator near the court. Although the player received a technical infraction during the game, league officials opted against issuing a suspension despite the proximity to the seating area.

Cunningham expressed frustration over the ruling, asserting that a double standard exists for prominent athletes.
