India suffer second-biggest defeat in T20I history after 87-run loss to New Zealand

New Zealand secured a dominant 87-run victory over India in the fourth match of their five-game T20I series. The hosts posted a formidable total of 259/7, fueled by a century from Glenn Phillips and a rapid half-century from Michael Bracewell.

India struggled in response, finishing their innings at 172, marking their second-largest margin of defeat in the format. This result ends a seven-year period during which India remained unbeaten in T20Is on New Zealand soil.
