India reached a milestone on Saturday, playing its 300th Twenty20 International during the second match of the series against New Zealand at Christchurch’s Hagley Oval. This achievement makes India only the second side, after Pakistan, to reach the 300‑match mark in the format.

Pakistan currently leads with 304 T20Is, while New Zealand sit third with 269 appearances.

India’s record in those 299 completed games stands at 199 victories, 83 defeats, seven ties and ten no‑result encounters. By comparison, Pakistan has 176 wins, 116 losses, four ties and eight no‑results.
