In the offseason, Giants weren't interested in Joe Flacco

Earlier this year when quarterback Joe Flacco tested the free agent market in March, he reportedly pursued an opportunity with the Giants. However, the organization declined to pursue him, choosing instead to keep Jameis Winston under contract through 2026 alongside backup J.J. McCarthy.

Flacco eventually agreed to a one-year, six million dollar contract to remain with the Bengals. Following a knee injury sustained by Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, New York might be quietly regretting their prior inaction, though Cincinnati needs Flacco available behind starter Joe Burrow.
