Husky-Beater Hauck Lasts Just 4 Games at Illinois

Bobby Hauck has stepped down as the defensive coordinator for Illinois after managing just four games in the position. Following a defensive collapse where the unit surrendered forty-two points and over five hundred yards to Ohio State, Hauck met with head coach Bret Bielema to mutually terminate his role.

Hauck previously gained attention in the Pacific Northwest for leading Montana to a seven to thirteen victory over Washington at Husky Stadium back in twenty-twenty-one, a tenure that included prior assistant coaching stints in Seattle alongside Rick Neuheisel.
