New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry left Sunday’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins with a foot injury sustained on a four-yard reception in the second quarter. After spending time in the medical tent, Henry exited the field and did not return, with his status ruled out for the remainder of the game in the fourth quarter.
Before his departure, he led the Patriots’ receiving tight ends with three catches for 30 yards, though rookie Eli Raridon stepped into the top role in his absence. The Patriots entered the game already shorthanded at skill positions, with wide receiver A.J.
Brown and running back TreVeyon Henderson also out, forcing Henry and Raridon into expanded roles with just four active wideouts on the field.
