After spending three months recovering from a finger injury picked up during his stint with the Kolkata Knight Riders, young cricketer Angkrish Raghuvanshi has returned to competitive action. The twenty-two-year-old batter recently scored three half-centuries in Karnataka during the Thimmappaiah Memorial tournament and followed that up with a fifty for the Rest of India under-23 squad against Tamil Nadu.
Expressing relief at being back on the pitch rather than in a hospital, Raghuvanshi stated that his body feels completely healthy and his batting rhythm is returning. He also credited his long-time mentor Abhishek Nayar, the head coach for his IPL franchise, for providing essential guidance and acting as a constant support system in his career.
