Haas drops Ocon for rest of 2026 F1 season

Haas has officially severed ties with Esteban Ocon for the remainder of the 2026 Formula 1 campaign following a heated disagreement with team principal Ayao Komatsu during the Mexico City Grand Prix weekend. While Ryo Hirakawa stepped in to secure a points finish in Mexico, the team has confirmed that Ferrari junior Rafa Camara will take over the race seat beginning at the upcoming Brazilian Grand Prix.

The decision follows a breakdown in the professional relationship between the driver and the organization, which was already set to conclude at the end of the current season.
