Giants defense looking for more sacks despite Brian Burns’ absence

New York defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson expressed confidence in his unit despite losing outside linebacker Brian Burns for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL. The group currently ranks ninth in points allowed per game and recently defeated the Titans 12-7 while forcing six three-and-outs and holding opponents to just 54 total yards in the first half.

However, the squad has struggled to bring down opposing quarterbacks, generating only a single sack across their opening three matches.
