Aerial Powers, a ten-year veteran of the WNBA, has been selected for the 2026 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup Team USA roster. After missing the 2026 WNBA season, she competed in Turkey with Çanakkale Belediyespor during the 2025-26 winter and played 12 games in Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball, averaging 9.3 points.
This international selection comes after the U.S. team reached only the semifinals in three August FIBA 3x3 Women's Series events.
Powers' professional journey began as the fifth overall pick in the 2016 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings, where she earned All-Rookie Team honors and finished second in Sixth Player of the Year voting after averaging 10.4 points. Her career spanned 200 games across six teams: Dallas, Washington, Minnesota, Atlanta, and the Golden State Valkyries, and the Indiana Fever.
She played a key role in the Mystics' 2019 title win, averaging 11.4 points and again placing second in Sixth Player of the Year voting. Other stints included a short 2020 season in Washington due to a hamstring injury, time with the Minnesota Lynx from 2021 to 2023, the Atlanta Dream in 2024, and a brief period with the Golden State Valkyries in 2025 before joining the Indiana Fever for eight games, where she averaged 9.0 points.
