First Look at Illinois Football Week 5 Opponent: Purdue Boilermakers

Following a steep loss to Ohio State, the Illinois football program returns home for a conference matchup against Purdue during homecoming weekend. The Boilermakers are currently searching for momentum after sliding into a three-game losing skid following consecutive defeats against Wake Forest, UCLA, and Notre Dame.

Purdue features a high-powered passing attack led by quarterback Ryan Browne alongside impact transfers Xavier Townsend, Asaad Waseem, and running back Fame Ijeboi, despite struggling defensively throughout the early portion of the season.
