Fermin 9.5, Raphinha 9 | Barcelona 6-1 Deportivo Alaves: Player Ratings

Barcelona rebounded strongly from their recent loss to Real Madrid with a commanding 6-1 victory over Deportivo Alaves in La Liga’s 11th matchday. The Catalans dominated from the start, taking a 4-0 lead within the first half thanks to goals from Raphinha, Fermín López, and a double strike from Lamine Yamal.

The second half saw Yamal add a third and Ansu Fati round out the scoreline, showcasing Barcelona’s clinical edge even after a shaky defensive stretch earlier in the season. Key contributions came from defenders Frenkie de Jong and Pau Cubarsi, who anchored the backline with solid performances, while midfielder Rodri controlled the tempo and distribution.

The win also highlighted the emergence of youngster Brian Farinas, who made his debut in Xavi Espart’s absence and held his own in a defensive role, while Joao Cancelo provided an assist in attack despite occasional defensive lapses. Goalkeeper Joan García remained composed, making crucial saves early before the game became a rout.
