Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool’s decision on re-signing Trent Alexander-Arnold

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has dismissed rumors connecting Trent Alexander-Arnold with a swift return to Liverpool. Reports indicated that Anfield officials have not initiated any serious talks to re-sign the defender, while neither the player nor Real Madrid are contemplating a departure during the upcoming January transfer window.

Liverpool has faced creative deficits and defensive concerns following the player's departure and injuries to Conor Bradley, sparking speculation about a potential reunion. However, Real Madrid remains patient with the full-back's ongoing adaptation period, leaving the Premier League side to explore internal squad solutions rather than an emotional homecoming.
