Luis Figo makes amusing Lamine Yamal admission and praises Barcelona youngster: ‘If we had played together…’

Former Ballon d'Or winner Luis Figo recently discussed the impressive talents of Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal. In a lighthearted remark, the Portuguese icon joked that if they had ever shared a pitch, he might have needed to relocate to the left flank due to their overlapping preferred positions.

Figo also analyzed the defensive headaches caused by the young attacker, pointing out why modern defenders avoid chasing such dangerous playmakers all over the pitch with man-to-man coverage. Reflecting on his own storied career, the legendary winger highlighted the mix of physical power and technical skill that defined his playing days on the right wing.
