During a lopsided 127-105 defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was caught on a hot microphone criticizing officiating standards. Kerr suggested that the referees were favoring the home team, specifically mentioning that certain fouls would not be called in other arenas while speaking to rookie Yaxel Lendeborg.
Lendeborg, who recorded four fouls in 29 minutes, later expressed frustration with Luka Doncic during his postgame media availability. Despite Kerr's complaints about the officiating disparity, both teams finished the contest with 27 free throw attempts each.
Doncic led the Lakers to victory by contributing 28 points in the blowout win.
