England secured a dominant 119-run victory over Sri Lanka in the opening Twenty20 fixture, propelled by a blistering 114 from Harry Brook. The action got underway at 6:30pm BST on a surface offering minimal resistance to batters alongside a very quick outfield.

Early on, Nye Donald was dismissed on debut after toe-ending a shot cleanly taken at mid-off, finishing with an eye-watering strike rate of 240.
