Alabama faces its most challenging test of the season when it welcomes undefeated Georgia (5-0, No. 2 in the US LBM Coaches Poll) to Tuscaloosa for a high-stakes SEC showdown.
The Bulldogs bring a roster stacked with experience against the Crimson Tide, including players who have faced Alabama in multiple games over the past two seasons. Quarterback Gunner Stockton, a fifth-year senior, leads Georgia’s offense with 1,049 passing yards, a 13:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio, and SEC-leading marks in completion percentage (75.5%) and passer rating (202.0).
Stockton has already accounted for 286 yards and four touchdowns in two prior meetings with Alabama, while also contributing 120 rushing yards this season. On defense, Raylen Wilson and Chris Cole anchor Georgia’s linebacker corps, combining for 46 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and four sacks in their combined history against Alabama.
Wilson, the team’s leading tackler (24 total, 13 solo), also leads the SEC with two forced fumbles, while Cole has recorded 1.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries in past matchups. Running back Chauncey Bowens adds another dimension, having rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown in two games against Alabama last year, while defensive back KJ Bolden rounds out the group with 14 tackles and two pass breakups across three prior meetings.
