Tennessee football rumors: Pete Nakos teases QB1 vs. Arkansas amid Faizon Brandon injury

Tennessee is evaluating its quarterback options for the upcoming matchup against Arkansas following an upper-body injury to Faizon Brandon. While head coach Josh Heupel has not confirmed a starter, George MacIntyre saw first-team reps during Tuesday's practice.

MacIntyre previously relieved Brandon during a 24-14 victory over Auburn, where he completed 80 percent of his passes for 86 yards. Brandon struggled in that contest, failing to record passing yards and throwing an interception.

The Volunteers currently hold a 4-1 record and look to improve their standing against the 2-3 Razorbacks on October 10.
