South Carolina’s Dylan Stewart takes big step in returning from indefinite suspension, but there’s a catch

South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart has returned to practice following an indefinite suspension triggered by his conduct during a 49-18 loss to Alabama. Head coach Shane Beamer confirmed Stewart's presence on the field Tuesday, though his availability for the upcoming Saturday matchup remains uncertain.

The disciplinary action stemmed from Stewart striking an opponent and his subsequent insubordination toward the coaching staff. While Stewart sat out last week's 35-34 overtime defeat to Kentucky, his path back to the active roster remains a day-to-day evaluation by the program.
