Elijah Arroyo injury update: Seahawks ‘likely’ placing tight end on IR

Seattle Seahawks tight end Elijah Arroyo is expected to be moved to the injured reserve list following a shoulder injury sustained during the team's recent loss to the Denver Broncos. The second-year player was hurt while attempting to secure a loose ball.

This designation will force him to miss at least four contests, with a potential return not occurring until late November. To bolster their depth during his absence, the organization has added Josiah Deguara to the practice squad.

Arroyo had been competing for snaps with Eric Saubert and Nick Kallerup prior to the setback.
