Eagles Injury Report: Cooper DeJean and Jalen Carter miss practice

Following an opening-week win against the Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles defensive standout Cooper DeJean was kept off the training field on Wednesday. The defensive back was present in his uniform jersey without taking part in drills after sustaining apparent rib trouble and minor knocks during the regular-season kickoff, an outing in which defensive coordinator Vic Fangio noted coverage difficulties.

Defensive tackle Jalen Carter was likewise absent from Wednesday's team session ahead of the Week 2 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

On a more encouraging note for Philadelphia's defense, Jonathan Greenard was able to return to practice on a limited basis. Meanwhile, Tennessee will not have to face Eagles guard Landon Dickerson in the upcoming contest, as Philadelphia prepares to preserve their undefeated record without several key contributors at full strength.
