Eagles Film Preview: Scheme will have to help this team beat the Rams

As the Philadelphia Eagles prepare for their upcoming Sunday matchup against the Rams, a tactical film study highlights the significant challenges posed by the opposition's defense. The unit under Chris Shula ranks first in expected points added per dropback, utilizing a shifting mix of zone and man coverages that keeps opponents guessing.

Individual playmakers like Byron Young, who leads the team with 14 pressures, and Trent McDuffie, who has surrendered just 59 yards across 18 targets, anchor a formidable defensive group.

At the same time, both squads are navigating injury concerns heading into the weekend. While the Rams are dealing with missing personnel in their secondary, the Eagles face their own health hurdles at the wide receiver position.

Analysts emphasize that the Philadelphia coaching staff must devise creative tactical adjustments to spark an offense that has struggled to find consistent rhythm this season.
