Eagles-Commander snap counts: Dontayvion Wicks flashes as WR2

The Philadelphia Eagles secured a tight 24-22 victory over the Washington Commanders to kick off Week 1 at Lincoln Financial Field. Quarterback Jalen Hurts paced the offense by tossing three touchdown passes, while Dallas Goedert also contributed to surviving Washington's comeback bid, which fell short after a failed late two-point conversion attempt.

Despite enduring blocking difficulties and a scoreless third frame, Philadelphia kept its unblemished 6-0 opening-day streak intact under its current leadership.

Newly acquired wideout Dontayvion Wicks made an immediate impression in his first game with the franchise, emerging as a productive secondary target. Before halftime, Wicks hauled in two receptions totaling 73 yards, highlighted by a second-quarter nine-yard scoring grab against Washington defensive back Mike Sainristil.
