Durham draw with Lancashire to end season unbeaten

Durham finished their County Championship campaign without a single defeat after securing a draw against Lancashire on a weather-interrupted final day in Division Two. Josh Bohannon anchored the hosts' innings with an unbeaten knock of 190, helping Lancashire reach 397-6 before bad light and rain brought a premature end to the match at Emirates Old Trafford.

Rain and poor visibility restricted play significantly throughout the morning and afternoon, limiting the home side to 38 overs of batting. Ben Walkden contributed a career-best 36 before falling to Callum Parkinson, while George Balderson chipped in with an unbroken partnership alongside Bohannon as the fixture drifted toward a peaceful stalemate.

The drawn result left the champions atop the division standings with a comfortable 47-point cushion over Kent, whereas Lancashire wrapped up their season positioned one spot above the bottom of the table.
