All-rounder Ayush Badoni has been appointed to captain Delhi for the upcoming 2026-27 Ranji Trophy campaign, as confirmed by the Delhi & District Cricket Association on Saturday. The organization revealed a 16-player squad for the primary red-ball competition, positioning Yash Dhull as the newly named vice-captain.
Anuj Rawat and Pranav Rajvanshi have been selected as the designated wicket-keepers for the side.
Delhi kicks off its tournament schedule against Bengal within Elite Group C, which also features Gujarat, Jharkhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Services. During the previous season, the seven-time titleholder struggled significantly by failing to secure a single victory, accumulating six draws and one loss to finish near the bottom of its group standings.
